Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a fully 3D game, as opposed to the 2D Kirby sidescrollers that fans typically get with the franchise. Coming in spring 2022, the new Kirby game looks like one of the biggest that fans have gotten out of the franchise, with the gameplay trailer showing off some of the environments and enemies that players will be met with as they journey through what it has to offer.

It's interesting that it's a 3D Kirby game, I'm a huge fan of the 2D side scrollers, they're a lot of fun, I'll be interested to see where this goes. Kirby needs a good release, Star Allies was good, but...lacking. Hopefully this one brings something exciting for Kirby fans.

I'm glad Kirby is finally making the jump to full 3D. I wonder if this game will have co-op as well. If not, it's not a deal breaker, I just really liked playing Star Allies with my friends.

Day one for me! I think it's a great direction for Kirby, they've tried so many different 2d iterations over the last few years and I'm glad that we're heading in this direction. I reckon this could be a big hit on the Switch.

I'd hate to see Kirby gets some rust and metal taste in his mouth. Can't be good for his health. Very cool. Definitely taking a step in a direction I wish was in the 64 game but it's good each one has a variation to it based on power-ups. The RPG idea looks fun but makes me feel like they did it to add to the length of the game because it could be a slew of menus getting things done.

I played the demo yesterday and its so good. I'm so excited for the final release. I'm still avoiding spoilers so I didn't watch the movie at the end, but if you boot up the demo after beating it, you get to try some of the new upgraded powers and they're so fun. This could be a top 5 Kirby game for me.

The whole upgrade thing alone will make this fun, can't wait to play more.

I think it's the closet we'll get to dual power up from Crystal Shards. One negative about Crystal Shards being your first Kirby game, the sadness of not having dual power ups ever again. :(

Does playing the demo save your progress when you purchase the game? Don't want to play the demo and then have to play through the same level(s) again...

It didn't really say one way or the other, but the levels aren't particularly long. Also if you beat the demo you get two codes that can get you... stuff in the full version. I don't know what stuff, it didn't really say either.

Ach, I've got too much to play at the moment, I'll just have to miss out on the items haha. Let me know what you get!
