Whether you loved or hated the finale, all Lost fans are now faced with the sad fact that the show has come to "The End." With no new episodes being produced, we've seen the last of Jack, Kate, Locke, Sawyer, Hurley and the rest of the characters. Or have we?
TV Guide is reporting that there will be as much as 20 minutes of additional footage on the upcoming Season 6 DVD release, due Aug. 24 on DVD and Blu-ray.
"It's in production now," a source told the site. "Damon [Lindelof] and Carlton [Cuse] wanted to offer fans answers to additional questions they couldn't get to in the body of the final show."
But that's not all fans have to look forward to. In an interview with IGN last week, Cuse said that some of the questions left unanswered after the finale will be addressed in a bonus feature "in an entertaining way."
And if that wasn't already a reason to get your pre-order in now, there's also word that the Season 6 and Complete Series releases will have special packaging designed just for fans. We don't have any further details, but if it's as cool as the Season 5 Dharma Initiation Kit, we can't wait to check it out.
