While I play League, I don't fully support the move...I mean, it's nice to see gaming getting more recognition, but is this the right way to go? I don't think so, as while games have every side of sports as far as mental exertion goes, it lacks the physical makeup, which every sport has in one way or another. In addition, now every game that has a competitive side will want their game to get the same recognition. Also, think about the rights that professional sports get...sports networks such as ESPN will be showing League in the future.
What do you think about this, and what do you think the impact on gaming will be?
