Adaptation titled The Teardrop Crystal. The company made the announcement during a livestream event commemorating the Mana series’ 30th anniversary. Warner Bros. Japan will produce the project while Graphinica and Yokohama Animation Laboratory will handle the animation together.

Revealed during the special livestream, Mana series producer Masaru Oyamada explained how the project came to fruition. Oyamada stated that the idea for the anime was actually Warner Bros. Japan’s idea. The company approached Square Enix even before it was developing the game’s recently released HD remaster. Oyamada further elaborated that the producer from Warner Bros. Japan was so enamored with Legend of Mana on PlayStation 1 that he was eager to make an anime adaptation. Lastly, Oyamada confirmed the anime will release worldwide.

I've never heard of it but any type of anime that I only assume would have angels in it or be about angels such as the name Mana suggest would have to be a good one. I hope it comes to Cartoon Network on the weekends at night because I would probably get into it. New animes are always fun to watch if they are quality and created good.

I honestly can't think of any angels in the Mana series. The series usually has a tree of mana that's the source of all mana that the bad guys are trying to steal, or have stolen.

This entry is kind of a weird choice in the franchise for an anime adaptation, because there isn't really a story, and is primarily a bunch of side quests, with quite a few having obtuse requirements.
