Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Hits this Holiday

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword releases this holiday for the Nintendo Wii, Shigeru Miyamoto announced today at E3.

The company will also release a special gold Wii controller as part of a promotion. Nintendo additionally said The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords will be available as a free download for the Nintendo DSi this September.

we didn't get any new footage, which sucked. but the gold wii remote looks epic.

I'll be honest, I don't really like LoZ much, specially OoT (which I think is just the most overrated game, thanks to its fanboys that like to say "IT'S THE BEST GAME EVAAAAAAARRRR" all the time), BUT Skyward Sword really looks interesting and the villain isn't even Ganondorf this time around. It's crazy.

Ocarina is overrated, but I enjoy Zelda, and I like that this isn't going to end up like Twilight Princess, where it gets delayed until the new console comes out.

I really enjoy the Zelda Series. I have never actually owned the game, I either borrowed it or rented it. I can't decide whether I want to get Skyward Sword or not, but it sounds like it will be a great game, and I really like the new controller!
