40769 SEGA Genesis Controller contains 260 pieces and will be available from September 8th, seemingly as a gift-with-purchase. We have no information about the spend threshold at the moment, but hope to receive that soon and will update this article then.

So it's nice there are more Sonic sets, but we're getting more next year anyway. I don't get why anyone would need this in Lego. Maybe just buy a used controller from a resale store. I doubt you'd be buying this for the pieces. Black Lego pieces tend to hide the details you try to build with them.

I need this! I love that Green Hill appears in this set too. I would love to own all the Sonic Lego sets but I don't make that type of money lol.
