I must agree here. Hackers can bring great things. The problem is when they hack in order to allow Piracy and Piracy harms the industry badly. Using coding knowledge to go beyond the limits of the original game can bring great things. Look at Oblivion. The construction set had its limited so someone modified the code of the game/construction set to create the script extender allowing for a whole array of advanced mods to be created. It really depends what the end result of the hack was. It is such a cloudy issue. there is no right or wrong answer.
Well, I agree with GracefulAssassin. The Playstation 3 proved to be the toughest nut to crack until the hack had happened. Otherwise, it had been beating Nintendo and Microsoft in security, both of which had already been hacked and attacked by piracy.
Yeah Sony was the toughest to hack. Problem is, when it was hacked, it was hacked to such a massive extent that it completely crippled the system. It would be easy for Anon to do this to Nintendo or Microsoft. They just don't see any point in doing so.
