Xbox Lionhead Studios could have survived

According to a new report from Kotaku UK, "several potential buyers" came forward to express interest in purchasing the Fable franchise and developer Lionhead Studios from Microsoft. However, these talks did not materialize, reportedly due to Microsoft's unwillingness to sell Fable, and Lionheadeventually closed its doors at the end of April.

Sad news, especially considering I love the Fable franchise and would love to see in on Playstation - and its likely Microsoft wont touch it for a while.

Not really. People weren't too impressed with the in development F2P game, but the mainline series did decent. I loved Fable 3.
