Most PlayStation enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting the release of LittleBigPlanet, Media Molecule's incredibly ambitious project that puts players in control of intricate level design. Today on the official PlayStation Blog, SCEA Marketing Manager Mark Valledor made a post officially confirming LittleBigPlanet's release date for the 21st of October.
"The game code has gone 'GOLD' and we've started manufacturing the PS3 cases, manuals and most importantly Blu-ray discs," Valledor wrote.
We've had a rough idea that LittleBigPlanet would be arriving around that time, but it looks like all the details have been hammered out. Even more good news came in the form of two more downloadable (and free) SackBoy outfits for those players that purchase the game during week one. The first is a charming little spacesuit that completely covers SackBoy, while and the other is a simple black t-shirt with a stylish symbol on the front (and oversized tag in the bag). These will only be available for a short time so LittleBigPlanet fans should make sure to get their hands on a copy on the 21st.
