Live-Action Cowboy Bebop Production Put on Hold for 7-9 Months Due to John Cho's Injury

could there be a stronger sign to not make this?

I doubt it.

I also have my doubts that it won't be good. Hopefully, some fans enjoy the live action, so the fans did not they feel like they wasted their money and time, and the movie makers and actors don't feel they totally waste their time making this movie.

That's a pretty good observation.
Usually I don't like live action in general. They don't do justice to the anime

I sometimes like live-actions if they have a few good scenes. Live-actions are shorter. My expectations are not as high for live actiond becsuse it is harder to make them as good as anime which have many episodes.

Well, to be honest I don't really understand why live actions are needed
Most of the time, they are disappointing

Live actions maybe used to help promote the anime to new fans who never heard of the anime, or the anime maker thought it was a good idea to create a live action.

I never thought of it that way.
That's quite an interesting view. I suppose that could be the case as well

I think live actions may also be easier to promote because famous actors like Tom Cruise have more fans than lesser known anime. If Tom Cruise starred in a live action, a lot of their fans may more likely watch the live action, and hopefully watch the anime.

I don't know how that is.
If they are popular then, that would come true of course
