Alright everyone, I have a long trip ahead of me tomorrow. I have to get up at 3:00 A.M. to prepare for a flight (several hours long).

I currently own a Macbook with VMWare Fusion (used to run Windows XP and Ubuntu).

I have Visual Studio 2008, Visual Studio 6, Xcode, the Python IDLE, GCC4TI, and Turbo Delphi.

I am also downloading several anime episodes onto my computer for the trip.

I plan to bring several books (computer programming and circuitry) along with me.

In my situation, what would you guys do on a long flight? And with several days of dead time that can be spent doing anything in a hotel room?

Give me two situations: one where you are going as yourself and one where you are going as me.

Oh, and I'm currently working on a game for my TI calculator in C and a game engine in VB.NET as well.
 
So you actually still want to do something out of VB.NET! Have a good trip ^^ And why stay in your hotel room? Traveling... explore some of the city ^^ I traveled a lot a few years earlier. Belgium, West Canada, US, Russia, etc. And the main thing from that.. is to discover more about these places ^^
 
Well, I've been here before and actually have to be in my hotel for several hours; so, that's why I was asking about that.
 
So you actually keep on going to the same place.. ? PROGRAMMING lolz, I still can't find any suitable game engines these days.
 
I'm making an engine in VB.NET. The game is being made in C.

The game is for the TI-89 calculator. It's shaping out to be a tactical RPG game.
 
Tactical..? As you said it, it doesn't even look online. I'll sure give it a try and maybe you could get sponsors. Also, I can't wait for your engine! I'll be helping out
 
Hrm... When we drive to our golfvilla I normally just listen switching from my CDs to my i-Pod to my i-Phone, text a bit, call a friend. Play some cell-phone games. Read some manga.

Oh and we went on a 13 hour drive 4 days ago and I read a really good yaoi novel, I ended up starting to cry in the car it was really sad XD
