Longest you've ever gone....?

What's the longest you've ever gone without playing a video game? What caused you to not play video games for that long? What got you back into playing again?

like three days once due to school. Twas horrible.

A week because of school camping trip.

I don't think I've gone more than 2 or 3 days without playing but that was because I was too busy with work to be able to get on the console.

Had to sacrifice 6 months, due to an important project at work last year. Although on the weekends, I fit in watching some anime series, then I would get called into work (sometimes)

Mine was almost a year, between getting out of college and starting a new job just couldn't find the time.
