Looking for people who owned 7th and 8th generation consoles

Just a heads up to all GF gamers, I want to make a few articles on our website asking those who owned both 7th and 8th generation consoles (Wii and Wii u, PS3 and PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox one) and ask about the differences you notice between the consoles and if the new features make the 8th gen better than last gen and the such.

I've got PS3 and PS4 so I wouldn't mind answering questions regarding them or helping out regarding them. I don't have Nintendo or Microsoft's respective consoles though so I couldn't compare them that way...
