In a statement today, TBS revealed that they have abruptly decided to cancel their nightly talk show Lopez Tonight and that the series finale of the show will be, well, tomorrow night.
From the TBS spokesperson: "TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight. Thursday will be the final episode of the show. We are proud to have partnered with George Lopez, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. TBS has valued its partnership with George and appreciates all of his work on behalf of the network, both on and off the air."
No word yet on what the network plans to have follow Conan O'Brien's show. This news is interesting considering the fact that Lopez was intrumental in actually bringing Conan over to TBS.
