Lost everything but power today

Had a nasty storm roll through the midwest today, which took out everything but power (for me at least), finally got my cell phone service to make use of the data plan (which is on a 1g limit right now), but still no word from my isp on restoring the internet and I know there are thousands without power right now.

Early bed for me tonight.

Nothing like taking 20 mins for my phone internet to post this update @Foodie your're in charge as it may be another day or two before I get reliable service back.

@cm2 i have started cold steel 3! Hopefully no patches needed since I can't connect to the internet

We had some storms this morning. There are reports of some more tonight. I haven't lost power yet (and I hope I don't this evening).

wish some of the strong winds came to my town, lots of dead trees that could use a merciful end.

Even a bad storm should make it go out unless the flying cable had to be replaced. THought the cable is underground right?

major storm killed wires and uprooted trees, on top of the fiber cord...

Stay safe and don't go out at all and try to make sure everything around is in good condition. Over here progress are getting flood warning
