If you're blindly surfing your favorite Japanese gaming sites and you come upon a new Square Enix WiiWare title that looks like a glorious 2.5D platformer, please don't start any petitions demanding a U.S. release for the game. The title you're looking at is Lost Winds, whose Japanese version was just announced today by Square Enix.
That's right, Square Enix is handling the Japanese localization and publishing of Frontier Developments' well-received WiiWare platformer. The title will hit Japan Japanese in December, costing 1,000 WiiPoints.
For Square Enix this news represents the second big international deal for the firm this week. Earlier in the week, Square Enix announced that it was forming a partnership with America's Gas Powered Games that will give birth to the realtime strategy game Supreme Commander 2.
