Did you lose your faith in any anime which did not live up to your expectation and the hype it created? If yes which one would that be?

For me it was Trigun and melancholy of haruhi suzumiya. both were not as good as the hype made them out to be.

Indeed I have to agree with Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, didn't watch Trigun yet. I don't think it was a bad show but it still wasn't the godlike anime like people told me.
