Love in video games

Since today is valentines day, what do you believe is the best romance video game? what video games have the best couples or love scenes? Ect.

Best thing I've seen is from FF 8 with squall and rinoa and FF 9 with Zidane and Garnet.
 
:P I've never played a love centered video game. Seems a little odd if you ask me. Never know though, they might be fun. lol
 
Ethan and Shaun Mars, father and son from Heavy Rain. They are very close, and Ethan has to do so many hard challenges to save his son. Tidus and Yuna from final Fantasy X, despite Tidus not being real. >_> Serah and Snow from final Fantasy XIII, even though Snow is a dumbass, he goes to great lengths to save Serah; same goes for Lightning. Cloud and Tifa from Final Fantasy VII, self explanatory for anyone that has played the game, or any variation of it. Lots of love going around. :P
 
Hmm I know it's late for this post but ah well. I must say I never played FF 7 or 8 so couldn't say but unfortunately I found the "love" between Tidus and Yuna to be a little false, at least on Tidus' side and FF 13 it seemed far too forced it didn't help that most of the characters especially snow were just insufferable angsty bellends. (Sorry to all the FF 13 fans but it had some serious characterisation issues)

As for a good example of love I have to say that I agree with Graceful assassin in what he said regarding Ethan and Shaun Mars and even to a degree Ethan and Madison as that scene after the 4th trial is a genuinely touching scene for a video game. I think that now that developers are taking a much more grown up approach to mature themes like love and sexuality we may see some truly excellently crafted relationships in future games.
