Luigi's Mansion 2 Release Date Confirmed?

I've seen somewhere that the confirmed release date of Luigi's Mansion 2 is 5/2/12, which, if you can't understand numeric....values of a date in order (like me) that's May 2nd, 2012. Then i read "a date that is between late 2012 and early 2013." Not sure which is true or not, but if it was May 2nd, we would've had some good numbers of gameplay footage scattered along Youtube, and not the same E3 footage posted 14 times.
Which date is true?

It's definitely not may 2nd, it would be announced by now. june-november 2012 is my guess

I wouldn't say it's too unlikely to be May 2nd. In most of my local stores it's available for pre-order now.

Can I say I pre-ordered Paper Mario 3DS on the 29th of the 9th (September) last year? Yeah here you can pre-order anything so long as it's confirmed. As it is I can pre-order the new Super Smash Bros. 3DS game.

Nintendo may be keeping tight-lipped on the game information due to not wanting to spoil things, but likewise maybe the game is going through bug testing. Sometimes games don't get fifty thousand gameplay videos before release, and that could be the case here. However I'm thinking that a possible release as close as May is pushing things. I'm going to say sometime after E3. But when exactly? No idea.

It's NOT May 2nd.

There has never been a SINGLE game in the history of everything since the creation of the universe.... that has only been coming out in less than a month, but has NO new screenshots, and NO new footage -- the most recent media relating to Paper Mario 3DS being from September....

Also... May 2nd is a Wednesday.... that just makes it completely untrue.

Nintendo games (either developed or published) are almost ALWAYS released on:
Thursdays in Japan and Australia
Fridays in Europe
Sundays in the US

I agree that in later 2012 (like say August, Mid-October) would be the release of Luigi's Mansion 2. If not, I would say after E3 or July.
