Did you know there are three different types of SSD's out there that you can get? Some slightly faster than the typical current SSD. You can read up about it here.

It's amazing that a storage device is no bigger than a stick of RAM size.
 
Thanks for sharing the guide on the difference between SSD.

I prefer the older type of SSD with a plastic case and SATA connection because they cost less money to buy, and looks more durable because it has a plastic case protecting the circuit board.
 
I thought the ram looking ones were faster, but not enough now to warrant the cost. Though they appear to be good for a wallet size pc.

I feel the more affordable SSD with a plastic case is fast enough for me. I would rather spend more money on a faster CPU and video card, so I can play more games at higher video quality settings like 4K.

The Ram looking SSD are good for those very thin laptops.

a pain to pull data off as they require special cables.
