The Mad Catz M.O.J.O. is an Android-powered device that you can plug into a TV to play Android games on a big screen. But it turns out you won’t be limited to Android games — Mad Catz plans to offer a software update after launch which will let you stream games from a PC to your TV.
Cool, I think PC game streaming would be great. Gamers can play the hundreds of Android games which work with controller, and also stream the thousands or more PC games by streaming them to a PC.
I wonder if MOJO will work with Steambox.
Mojo is kind of expensive, but I like the Nvidia Tegra 4 more than other mobile chips since the Tegra 4 seems like the best mobile chip for gaming.
Look at Mad Catz stepping outside the box, with another box! I think the cost is better than some alternative, and if you just use a phone for games, this could be a potential console for you. I think its genius, glad to see it.
I agree $100 would be a better price, but the cool controller, Nvidia Tegra 4 quad core 1.8 GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, USB, wired ethernet internet ports, and other features most likely raised up the cost of the Mojo, so the price is not as bad if you want the best Google Android console which is out, and also plan on using the Mojo as a settop box, TV computer for browsing the web, social networking and other non-gaming tasks, and you already own a lot of Google Android games from Google Play, and the Amazon App Market for Android, so you do not need to re-buy your Apps and Games from the Ouya, or Gamestick Games store.
I wish the Madcatz Mojo had 3GB of RAM, and 32GB or more GB of storage for the high price.
My main concern would be the quality. Mad Cats products used to be terrible quality (I cannot comment on more recent products) and this would put me off anything from them until many reviews had been posted and it had been out for a few months.
I read a few reviews of Madcatz products online, and their newer Madcatz Tritton headset mics for 360, PS3, and PC, and newer controllers for the Xbox 360, and PS3 are pretty well rated by buyers.
I owned a Gameboy Advance carrying case made by Madcatz, and it was pretty well made. It has a lot of small pockets for carrying game cartridges, link cables, and the Gameboy Advance.
