I agree it maybe underused if he uses it for just video editing, and browsing the web. I think he decided to pick this computer because he likes the look of the case, and design.

I think he probably games sometimes, so at least his new computer can handle all current PC Games which are out now, and he won't experience any slowdown problems.
 
video editing can be a resource hog though.

I do wonder about the under cooling vents though, placing it someplace poor could disrupt the air flow.

His computer case has a lot of fans, and air vents, so it probably won't overheat when it is being heavily used. The video card cooling fans also look very powerful.

The CPU also looks like it is being cooled by a liquid cooling system.
 
So this guy just exchanged an iMac for a powerful PC to do video editing? I thought iMacs were considered to be better for that sort of stuff. I could understand him getting this PC if he was a YouTube let's player or streamer, but for his type of channel, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere are more than enough.

I bet, he probably got the PC for free from Maingear, or at a discounted price because MKBHD is one of the most popular YouTube Tech Vlogger online. Popular Vloggers sometimes get free products for making videos about a company's products to show to his many subscribers.

He probably still have his Mac Pro for editing video and other stuff like testing new versions of Mac OS X, and Mac software to show to his viewers because he said he did not setup his Desktop computer yet in this video, and is showing it to viewers before setting up his PC.
