sourceAn important item in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is getting revamped for the 3D remake.
Nintendo Everything reports that in an interview with GamesMaster, series producer Eiji Aonuma talked about how the update will change the Bomber's Notebook due to advice from Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto.
"We were told by Mr. Miyamoto that he felt there were a lot of users who finished the original without even noticing all the hidden events scattered around the town," Aonuma said. "He said that he wanted us to make sure users were more aware of them this time around." The revised notebook will now make use of both screens, and help guide players toward hidden events.
The notebook is a major part of the various side-quests, helping players keep track of the characters who need help. Helping the townspeople gets you various prizes like Heart Pieces.
Majora's Mask has a fan base among series fans, some even calling it the best of the series. A special edition of Majora's Mask 3D was recently announced, which includes a figurine of Skull Kid, the story's antagonist.
I agree it was easy to miss things, which is why I used and still have the guide book to this game. But with today's methods, this change is kind of pointless.
