Looks pretty cool, but I want to know where I can buy a plastic ball that is openable, and the steel marble. I wonder if my local dollar store or craft store sells these things.

that's pretty cool and I'm sure a craft store would have the items needed.

Cool, I see if I can find a local craft store which is usually the "Dollar Store" here since there aren't a lot of craft stores here. But, the Dollar Store sell some pretty nice craft stuff.

Very cool video. It looks like a fun craft project. Thanks for posting.

Your're Welcome.

I wonder would a golf-ball sized glass marble for the center ball. Motor oil, hair gel or thick shampoo will work. I'm concerned the honey might become rotten someday since most food eventually rot and stink up the room.

I'm guesing those giant plastic easter eggs might also work for the outer clear ball to hold the honey and metal ball in the centre.

best way to find out is to experiment and upload the videos to youtube for all to see.

Honey has an indefinite shelf life Froggy. Believe me, I have the same small bottle I have had since 2008. An Easter egg may not work as well because of the lack of symmetry... it would wobble..

Anyway, here is the link at Instructables.com..

It says that you can get the ball at Hobby Lobby..

http://shop.hobbylobby.com

and the Steel ball is a Chinese stress ball.. they are called Baoding Balls.

I found them here for about 8 bucks..
