In a hilarious incident, a gamer who had saved up nearly Rs 6 lakh along with his fiancee for their wedding, ended up single-handedly spending all the money on a new gaming computer.
Every gamer worth their salt knows the importance of a good gaming PC. But this 24-year-old gamer one step forwards and spent nearly $8,000 on a new gaming computer without so much as informing his fiance.
Taking to the R/relationship_advice subreddit on Reddit, the woman wrote, "My fiance spent our entire savings (which we both were saving for our wedding and honeymoon) to buy a gaming pc". The 27-year-old woman went on to share that it wasn't even the worst part."What's worse is that ever since he got the pc, he has totally ignored me, he has absolutely forgotten that I even exist in his life," she wrote.
The couple, who had been together since December, started jointly saving all their money for a wedding and managed to save $8,000 (Rs 6.3 lakh approximately).
However, the woman claimed that ever since her fiance's best friend got a new gaming PC, he too wanted one. When she finally agreed to spend on a PC, the fiance ended up not only buying a gaming PC but also a gaming chair, desk, and a variety of assorted components. It was only after the purchases were made that the woman asked the finance how much he had spent on all of it.
"I was distraught when I heard that he had spent our entire savings of $8000 to buy the pc. We had a very big argument that night and I scolded him for spending all our savings because that savings contained not only his money but my money as well. And we were saving it for our wedding," the woman said.
''She went on to say that not had he spent all their savings, now he was spending all his time on his new chair and desk with his PC.''
The fiance has meanwhile promised to earn back all the money he lost on the PC.

lol either for me it's a dream to have that pc but i am not gonna sell my life for that :p

Hopefully, the boyfriend and girlfriend can both figure out a way to fix their relationship and money problems caused by the boyfriend spending all their money on a Gaming PC, and furniture.

Maybe they can both share the PC, and take turns using it for gaming, work, web browsing, and general tasks.

Even so after 5 years, well 1 year it be outdated PC LOL

Rather spending the full 8K just spend 2K a year for a new PC each time.

Legal battle can be tad expensive though...

Hopefully, he does not get health problems like back pain from using his PC all day. I feel he needs to get help to cure him of his Gaming PC addiction problems, and fix his relationship problems.

won't cost much for a lawyer for a open and shut case like this, hell I doubt she will need one, I bet the loser won't even show up because he's glued to his machine :p

lol

The thing is this is in India. The laws there might be difficult for this kind of case.

I saw on the news that the Coronavirus is still very active in India, so the local courthouse maybe closed or delay courtcases for non-violent criminals.

Hopefully, they can work out their relationship and money problems.

Be careful of what you believe on Reddit though. Half the nonsense posted in some of the "advice" subreddits are fake and made up to get karma. If it is real, that is absolutely crazy lmao

Tbh the best trolls on /b/ were the guys who put effort into faking the pictures so you couldn’t tell if they were dumb or amazing trolls

OP deleting system 32 on his dad’s work computer is one of my favorite threads.

I've had to fix computers where such critical files 'vanished', wasn't fun.

What an idiot! If my hubby did that, do you know how pissed I'd be? If my hubby were to spend $8,000 then it better be something that both of us can use.
