So for those who like to read manga, do you like to read it in Black and white or do you like it in full color?

I'm so used to it in black and white that I actually don't really think much of it. Then again, most of the manga that I read also has an anime so I have a general idea of hair colors and so fourth.

There are a few times the current Naruto manga has colored in pictures and I'll always take an extra second to look at them, but there are a few times I think "that color doesn't look right on X character." So I guess in that sense, it's a toss up, but overall black and white is fine for me.

There's manga that has full color pages? What? I thought they were all black and white! I would definitely prefer some color in there if I could get it but aside from fan colorings or a full color page for some type of event or accomplishment I've never seen an official full color manga. Keep that in mind what I mean by official.  One of the reasons I dislike manga a bit in general is because it's in black and white, I can enjoy the characters and story without color but it would be much nicer if I could read them in color. When I do see those event or accomplishment full page colors I'm usually excited and interested in looking over every bit of the page to fully take it in before continuing on.

In all honesty, I didn't even know that there were mange that came in full color. I like the black and white for mange mainly because it helps promote any dramatic moments or action packed-scenes. I'm definitely going to be on the lookout for full colored manga now.

soulite: I wouldn't get my hopes too high, full coloured manga is quite uncommon, atleast outside of doujins.... Most doujins are also black and white too, but I feel like there are quite a few full-coloured doujinshis.

It's obvious that most manga is going to be in black and white, due to the fact that it's so much cheaper to produce. Not only do they not have to decide what colour each thing is going to have, they will also save on production costs, staff costs, and so on. Most manga has a coloured front on them, and that mostly gives an idea of what the author thought that character X would have as a haircolour. But to be honest, if we were to bet on what hair colour they have, they'd probably have black hair, just like everyone else in Japan (the real world).

I don't really know what I prefer, I don't really care too much I guess... I suppose it may be annoyign with full colour though, since you may be so used to black and white, that instead of feeling special, it feels weird and annoying to have full colour.

Monochrome manga is what I've been used to all my life. I find that it also makes the reader use more imagination regarding the storyline.

Well, everyone prefer full color, as far as I know.

If anything, I care more about the actual format itself. Some websites offer the pdf documents, which are very annoying to me.

I prefer the images when compared to other formats.

When I see colored pages, I take time to read it twice. Guess I like colors, because for some you actually have no idea what the characters clothes color and hair color.
