Anime studio Manglobe, which has made hit animes like Samurai Champloo, The World God Only Knows franchise, Hayate the Combat Butler franchise, Samurai Flamenco and Gangsta, is closing down due to filing for bankruptcy.



Damn, what a shame.

I haven't watched many series produced by this studio, but it's always sad when a company goes bankrupt. I wonder if online piracy has anything to do with this.
