Chapter 1: "Uhn!" Mario groaned as he opened his eyes after a long sleep. "Where am I?" Mario asked himself as he got up and looked around the room. It didn't take him long to figure out where he was, one of Bowser's flying ships! "Mama mia!" Cried Mario as he dashed around the room. BANG! Mario hit the floor after dashing into the wooden door. He tried to open it after getting up. The door wouldn't budge! Mario looked around some more and noticed a ventilation shaft overhead. It wouldn't be hard to reach it, but first, he needed a mushroom. After one final scan, Mario noticed a ? box next to the hard bed. Mario punched it hoping to find a mushroom and, to his suprise, out came a mushroom! A... purple mushroom! Mario dashed around the room being chased by the poisonous mushroom that tailed him. After a while, Mario was trapped in a corner with an old portrait of Bowser and the words 'King Koopa' written underneath. As the mushroom slithered closer, Mario broke into a sweat. He slowly walked backwards, towards the portrait. Mario leaned on the portrait and fell through! To Be Continued...

I would just make posts periodically in the one topic, so when you make the next chapter, just post it in this same topic as a new post (don't edit the first post). That way the topic will float up to the top nicely (whereas if you were to edit, it wouldn't, and you'd have to make a post anyway to tell people a new chapter was up, which seems like a wasted post to me).

But yeah, good story so far! Fairly interesting, I'm sensing a Super Mario 64 theme with the portrait business, heh.
 
Wait,I knows what happens.

Mario falls down a chute,and puts on his Batman costume!He gets Robluigi,and drives off in the Bat mobile!

Chapter 2: "Waaah!" Mario fell through the other side of the painting! He got up off the dusty floor and looked around the room. The room was completely different from the first one. The previous room had been made at of wood, but this one was made of stone. The walls were filled with different paintings and yet there seemed to be no doors at all. "Bahahaha!" A boo flew out of a painting of a goomba and into one of king boo. "Mama mia!" Cried Mario as he stared at a painting of a koopa troopa. He noticed that all the paintings were portraits of people, enemy's, excluding one paining of... himself. "Hmm?" Mario walked up to the painting and touched it. Bloop... The painting moved in waves as if it were made of water. Mario was about to walk into the painting when his brother Luigi flew out of the painting of a goomba. "Waaah!" Cried Luigi as he ran for his life. Luigi skidded to a halt after noticing his brother staring at him, clearly confused. "Mario!" Luigi screamed in joy. "Luigi?" Questioned Mario. "Where are we?" "I dunno..." Replied Luigi, "All I know is I was being chased by a goomba!" A boo came out of the painting of Mario. "Bahahahaha!" The boo teased before flying through the roof. SCREEEE! "What was that?" Luigi nervously asked his sibling. "Hmmmm..." Replied Mario. "Maybe we're in a-" Mario was cut off when the floor beneath Luigi's feet gave in.

Sorry this is really my first story pretty much... How do I describe it more? P.S The current room is made out of stone like bricks like in ghost mansions. It's also circular with a pretty low roof and no windows, no doors just painting. And now the floor randomly fell under Luigis feet only with a loud sound. Sorry I had to say this now...

You can try to do like this:
The room was filled with small, nasty snails, and the walls were filled with blood. The painting to his left was screaming right at him, and told him that this wasn't the best plasce to be. Suddenly the painting moved and Mario got shocked. Suddenly, Peach was there! Her long blond hair was flowing in the wind, and her pink dress looked nice with her eyes. She was the most beautiful thing Mario had ever seen.
"Groaaawr!" the painting shouted, and Peach started to get bigger. She became a bit green, and suddenly she had red, large eyebrows. It was Bowser, and he head Mario right in front of him. Mario had no protection, and he was already dying from his horrible breath, and then he grabbed his arm.
"The time has come! The great Mario will die on the stonetable (Narnia

)!" bowser shouted, as he spitted in Mario's face. Mario thought he was going to puke, the horrible green spit in his eyes and the breath that smelled like 20-years old mushrooms... To be continued

Chapter 3: "Waaaah!" Mario was frightened by the sudden collapse of the floor and he stumbled backwards, falling into the painting of the koopa troopa. "Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Mario flew out of the portrait and fell on a soft patch of grass. He turned around and noticed the painting disappear off a brick wall. "Huh?" Wondered Mario. Mario searched the meadow noticing that there wasn't a koopa troopa in sight, in fact there was no sign of life at all. What Mario did notice was a wooden bridge, spreading across a mean lake of hot lava. On the other side of the bridge was a button laying on the grass. Mario slowly walked onto the bridge and advanced towards the button. He was three quaters across when suddenly a giant koopa troopa landed in front of him, about three times his size. "HEHEHEHEHEHE!" The giant troopa screamed at Mario, causing him to stumble back. "Mama mia!" Cried Mario. He searched his pockets for any leftovers he might have, and found nothing but a brown leaf. Mario ate the leaf and immediately grew a tanooki tail. "Wahoo!" Mario screamed in joy as he bounced around, almost forgetting about the unpleasant guest who watched him dance around. "HEHEHEHEHEHE!" The koopa troopa repeated. Mario got ready for battle and the giant enemy threw a troopa the same size as Mario. "Here I go!"
 
Chapter 4: "Hehehehehe!" Mario stood on a hard, wooden bridge, looking straight at a koopa troopa who seemed to be quite happy. Mario knew that the troopa was there to attack him, and not just to look happy. Mario span around, swinging his tanookie tail left, right and center! After a 3rd spin, Mario hit the koopa troopa who hid in it's shell. "Yaaaah!" Wailed Mario as he kicked the green shell at the giant, green shelled troopa. Direct hit! Although it didn't seem to bother it... "HEHEHEHEHEHE!" The giant koopa announced as it threw two more green koopa troopa's at Mario. He repeated his last technique, spinning like crazy before eventually hitting the leader of the two. Just as before, this koopa troopa hid in it's shell and Mario kicked it directly ahead of him. Unfortunately, the high-speed shell hit the 2nd troopa and, unexpectedly, bounced right back off! The green spiralling shell came hurtling towards Mario as the 2nd koopa hid in it's shell. "Oh no!" Screamed Mario as the shell hit him hard. Mario devolved, losing his tanooki powers. BLOP! A giant bubble of hot steaming lava popped to Marios right. "Yaaaaaaaah!" Mario fiercely yelled as he ran at the green koopa shell, which was beginning to shake around. He picked up the shell and quickly threw it at the giant enemy. POP! The smaller troopa popped out of his shell while in mid-air and soon noticed where it was headed. "Waaaaah!" Both the koopa troopas cried in sync.
