Ubisoft's sequel to the 2017 strategy game will see plenty of departures from Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. Sparks of Hope is confirmed to be dropping the grid-based style of the first game in favor of more free-roam strategy combat as well as taking place outside the Mushroom Kingdom. New information from Ubisoft since Sparks of Hope's announcement has also revealed the sequel sports a significantly larger development team than the original.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope will release on October 20th, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch.

I'm gonna get it. Hopefully it doesn't have the difficulty spike the first game had bc I ended up not beating that one. I had to watch the ending on youtube.

Details on the gold edition.

The Gold Edition, along with the base game, includes the Megabug Collection, which looks to be a collection of skins for the main characters' main weapons. Also, the Gold Edition will include access to the Season Pass for the game.

When I think of a season pass, does this mean you can play with other people online? Why have a season pass for a single-player game?

Unless the Gold edition goes on sale a lot like the first game, I doubt I'll get that.

I think it's referring to DLC. So like there's multiple different DLC planned so you get a season pass for that so you get it as it comes out.
