Marvel Studios' Blade production now has a start date and a working title.
According to The Cosmic Circus, Standoffish Productions LLC will begin principal photography of Blade this July in the Atlanta area, under the working title "Perfect Imprints." Marvel has already announced the film will star Mahershahla Ali as Eric Brooks/Blade, described in an early synopsis as "a half-human/half-vampire 'Daywalker'" who has "honed his abilities to hunt down the undead who have long terrorized mankind." Delroy Lindo and Aaron Pierre will co-star in undisclosed roles. Bassem Tariq will direct the film from a script by Stacy Osei-Kuffour.
