Has anyone seen this? What are your thoughts on it?

Personally, I'm happy they're doing SOMETHING with the series at long last, but I think they should make a new game rather than try and capitalise on yet more nostalgia.

I also wonder why it's not on Wii U (and Vita) given that it's on the PC, Xbox One, PS4 and 3DS. Seems like you could release a few eight bit ports on just about any platform with minimal effort...

But what do you think?

Seeing as I got all 6 of those off the 3DS EShop when they had their giant sale on MM games, I highly doubt I'll be picking this one up. As for if it's a good idea or not, I'm torn. I like the fact they're doing their best to keep the classics around (and they certainly are all classics) but at the same time it is capitalizing on nostalgia over anything else, which isn't an effective business model. Eventually they'll need to get something new out, or the backlash for all the nostalgia parties is only going to increase.

So it's Mega Man Collection, but two generations later? It's cool, but I'll pass. I have Mega Man Anniversary Collection and it has all six of those. Plus 7 and 8... Plus Mega Man The Fighters 1 and 2.
