Today, Mega Man Legends 3 Producer Kitabayashi made an announcement on Capcom's Unity blog describing a delay of an undetermined length in the launch of Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version, a paid demo/prologue available through Nintendo's upcoming eShop service. Prototype was originally scheduled to debut alongside the eShop on June 6 (United States)/June 7 (Japan).
"My sincere apologies go out to all who have been eagerly awaiting this game's release," Kitabayashi writes. "[...] All of us here on the development team are going to continue working on this project, harder than ever. Keep cheering us on!"
Mega Man Legends 3 is a full retail game for the Nintendo 3DS. Capcom has not announced an official release date for this continuation of the Legends series.
