Following four Game Boy Advance installments in as many years, Zero went out of the spotlight as Mega Man himself starred in various installments for DS, Wii and other platforms. But Capcom is giving signs of a Zero revival.
In Japan today, the company announced Mega Man Zero Collection. This DS title bundles all four Game Boy Advance Mega Man Zero games in one package at one low price, 4,190 yen. That's cheaper than the individual Zero games cost at their release.
Aside from the promise of four full Mega Man platformers, it's unclear if players can look forward to any DS-exclusive bonuses. It also remains to be seen if Capcom will update the games to take advantage of the second screen.
Mega Man Zero Collection will hit Japan on April 22 under the name Rockman Zero Collection. No release date or price was revealed for Mega Man Zero Collection in the US beyond a vague "Summer 2010" launch.
