Mercy is exactly what I expected it to be. That is to say, it's 90 minutes of Chris Pratt looking at a screen.
It's as lifeless as it sounds, and frankly, I have very little to really say.
Mercy is merciful only in runtime. Everything else about it is either dull or slightly idiotic. It's not as memorably awful as War Of The Worlds, but it's also nowhere near acceptable.
