It's true that Windows Phone (and now Windows 10 Mobile) doesn't have as many apps as Android or iOS. However, the perception of that app deficit may be just as problematic -- why would you switch to a Lumia 950 if you assumed that none of your favorite apps had Windows equivalents? Microsoft clearly isn't happy with this state of affairs, as it just released AppComparison for Android to help set the record straight. I wonder how many people will be lured to Windows Phone after trying the Windows and Android App Comparison App for Windows Phone in Android. This App may cause some people to not want to try Windows Phone after learning from the App that Apps like the official YouTube app are still not available on Windows Phone.

I am an Andriod user would probably never go for windows phone as i don't like the concept of it-self. I would just delete the app, and go on with my android happily ever after!

MS is doing a good job with their gaming console (by selling all the bundles this holiday season), so I'm sure they could turn a few android lovers.

I think Windows Phone was sold with Bundles in the past, and even given away for free, but the bundles, and free giveaways did not really help Windows Phone get a large amount of users.

Youtube isn't available, well I am out. The thing is that they will probably get a good phone out sometime in the future but so far Windows phones can't be compared to Android phones.
