t seems Xbox 360 owners who suffer from the dreaded red ring of death will have to begin shipping Microsoft their own coffin.
Joystiq reports the company has confirmed the discontinuation of the old policy where owners wishing to repair their broken system receive a shipping box from Microsoft.
Instead, now, Microsoft will only give customers the option of receiving a shipping label to print out online to slap on their own box.
Microsoft claims this new policy, which supposedly began on May 26, will "expedite the repair process" since customers will no longer need to wait for a box to arrive.
