DESPITE THE CUTOFF of support for Windows XP being less than two weeks away, there is no sign of any last-minute move away from the obsolescent release, according to Microsoft.
There are millions of PCs online still running Windows XP, despite Microsoft's repeated efforts to urge businesses and individuals away from it and onto a later release.
"We're not seeing a stampede," he revealed. "Many organisations will have looked at this from a 'T-minus' perspective and are probably now seeing their plans come together. People have to deal with contingencies and the realities that brings."

I think most people who still use Windows XP will continue to use XP because they are too poor for a new computer with either Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 on it, and many people don't want to learn how to use Windows 8.1. Windows Vista may also have damage the reputation of Windows 7, and 8.1 which made many XP fans think Windows XP is the last good version of Windows, and all version from Vista, 7, and 8.1 are not very good compared to XP which is known to be fast, reliable, and easy to use.
Plus, a lot of people still have a lot of older games, software, and files which may not work on Windows 7-8.1.
