I wonder would Start8, Classic Shell, Pokki, Startmenu8 and other Windows 8 Startmenu replacement programs will see an increase or decrease in downloads if the Startmenu coming back to 8 is true.
If bringing back the startmenu is true, more people will upgrade to 8, but people who used Windows XP or older may hate the Windows 7/Vista startmenu and may look for replacement startmenus like Classic Shell because it does not look like the classic blue startmenu from Windows XP, or older versions like 95-2000 or Server versions of Windows like Server 2003 which use a simple gray startmenus with sub-menus for programs, settings, my documents, etc.
