“So far we’re seeing very encouraging things,” Larson-Green says of the large volume of data that Microsoft receives every day from people using Windows 8 who have chosen to join the company’s “customer experience improvement program.” All users are invited to enroll in that program when they first log into the new operating system. If they do so, anonymized information about how they are using the operating system is sent to Microsoft. Referring to complaints from some quarters, Larson-Green says: “Even with the rumblings, we feel confident that it’s a moment in time more than an actual problem.”

I think these days with so many books, ebooks, online videos, and audio books on using Windows 8 which people can get for free, or buy for an affordable price like 10 dollars more or less, it is easy to find or buy tutorials to learn about using Windows 8.

Plus, learning to use Windows 8 is not very hard once you get used to it, and learn how to use it.

I think the newer generation will have no compared to older people.

I think the bigger tiled icons might be easier for older people to click with a mouse or touchscreen, and closing apps by dragging them downwards to the bottom with a mouse, or finger is easier since it is like throwing stuff away to a pile of junk in reality,

A lot of old people are using tablets like the iPad these days because they just need to turn it on, and tap on an icon on the desktop, or the "All Apps" program to open their Apps which they normally use like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, e-mail, news, and camera app.

The Tablet automatically updates all their apps, and operating system by default, or when they click "I agree" button.
