Microsoft has shortened the recovery rollback period from 30 days to just 10 days in a bid to help free up some more space on consumer PCs. As reported by SuperSite for Windows, the company previously allowed for 30 days before previous installs of Windows were deleted on a PC, allowing those who wish to downgrade to an earlier version ample time to do so.

I feel 10 days is kind of short. But, at least, it is not shorter like 10 hours or 1 day.

They could have kept it to 30 days easily.

I think there is a chance that MS will bring back the 30 days when enough Windows users complain.

There will be some people who would get screwed by MS for making the rollback due date 10 days.

Some people with older printers will be affected by the 10 day rollback due date because many people who are not students or workers don't print stuff on a weekly basis. Some lazy and careless users may not test if their older printer drivers are compatible with Windows 10 before the 10 day rollback period is over. Users will guest their Printer will work in Windows 10 because their printer works on Windows 7 and 8.1 operating system before the upgrade.
