That copy of Halo 3 you're playing... it's faulty. According to Randy Nunez, a San Diego resident, Halo 3 "consistently causes the Xbox 360 to crash, freeze, or lock up while the game is being played."
This is interesting because this is the first we've heard of rampant crashes that Halo 3 is causing.
Sounds like this guy just has a broken Xbox 360, which is WAY MORE likely.
I'm no fan of the Halo series and never will be. It's strange of how a copy of Halo 3 kept crashing. It could have a scratch on the CD when the consumer bought it and played it immediately when he got home. Or, the person who bought it got pissed off and threw the damn controller at the 360 repeatedly, causing the CD to have scratches and the 360 to screw up.
If he is, then he's a greedy bastard. He's embarassing himself by getting pissed off, throwing his controller at his 360, causing damage to it and wanting another one. Getting pissed like that isn't going to get you anywhere. He should lay off the games for awhile and get a date, or whatever he does in his spare time.
