Microsoft said tablets will outsell desktop PCs in 2013, partially thanks to Windows 8 devices.

My best guest is in 2013 most Windows 8 computers and laptop will come with a touchscreen monitor which turns them into a tablet since a Tablet is a touchscreen monitor which is easy to carry around, and can use apps.

I think this makes sense since Tablets are cheaper then desktops, so people can buy more. You can buy a cheap Tablet for 100 dollars or less at CVS Pharmacy, Walmart, eBay, Amazon, and other online and offline store.

A Smartphone, eReader like the Kindle Fire, and some computers like all-in-ones also have Tablet features built-into them, or can be consider tablets.

Well, with how Windows 8 looks, it's pretty obvious Microsoft is banking on the Tablet PC market taking over. I hope this isn't the case, but it's the kind of thing you just have to wait and see.

I think it won't be Windows being King of Tablets which the Apple iPad holds now unless Microsoft makes a Tablet which cost 199.99 like the Google Nexus Tablet with a Quad Core CPU, 1GB of RAM, and all the features which consumers want in a portable device like webcam, Bluetooth, lots of storage, Wi-Fi for an affordable price like 199.99-299.99.

The PC and Laptop will still exist for hardcore gamers, office workers, and for school, but I think people like very young kids, grand parents, and non-tech savvy people like casual users and computer illiterates, the Tablet will be their PC of choice since a lot of people are confused and intimidated by a lot of buttons, lights, fans, and wires/cables found on PC and laptops.
