Xbox Microsoft to retire Xbox Live services on Windows Phones

"Starting May 16, 2022, Xbox features will no longer be supported on Windows Phone devices," the company said in an app notification. "As part of this change, earning achievements will be retired on Windows Phone devices. Some games may still be playable on your phone, but progress will not be recorded to your Xbox profile."
 
They've seen enough reasons while taking such actions to retire the feature full-time from appearing on Windows phone.
 
I really wanted to like the Windows phones but they could not keep up with the intuitiveness of Apple and Android.
 
I'm surprise that Xbox Live is supported on Windows Phone until May 16, 2022 because Windows Phone was discontinued a few years ago.
 
Phones are like the mobile of Xbox, right? I never used Xbox but I feel there will be other ways to interact between the two in the future.
