Not a secret, but yeah. They were behind that early Japanese computer that was the home of the earlier Metal Gear games before they came to the NES.

Makes you kind of reconsider the whole 'Microsoft started in games with the Xbox' story, doesn't it?

Eh, this is just PC gaming, which they've been in forever. They should look at the MSX and try to figure out how to reclaim the Japanese market.

lol steps to claiming the Japanese market:

1.) Add lots of anime-themed gameplay focused on an almost entire female cast

2.) Make the characters as close to naked as possible

3.) Add a dating sim.

Seriously, don't believe me? Hyperdimension Neptunia, Omega Quintet, Akiba's Trip, Senran Kagura, and Ikkitousen are great examples with all but the last one having made it to the US with added censorship. A lot of those game styles are VERY COMMON and sell EXTREMELY well in Japan.

Yeah, they should emulate the Vita lol
They did that already; it is called the Windows Phone 8 lol chock full o' indie games and not much else, just like the Vita. Has a camera, takes screenshots, and hooks up to the internet, also like the Vita lol

lol I loved your sarcasm, but I couldn't help being sarcastic back to further insult MicroSoft lol

I'm taking about all those pervy games thriving on Vita, keeping it alive in Japan.

Windows phone gaming is sad though.
