Forget plain old Augmented Reality, this is more like it!
Having people in two different places appear to be in the same room is pretty impressive. If it could be somehow utilised for actual video games, things could get extremely immersive.
Like say, Five Nights at Freddy's with this sort of setup.
On another note though, does anyone else get reminded of Mad Mod from Teen Titans when they see this video?
To some degree, this sort of tech is basically what that guy used in the TV show. He was controlling a virtual avatar in some sort of virtual reality setup, which would seemingly 'interact' with the other characters. You could probably do something pretty similar with this sort of technology...
But yeah, thoughts?
