Midnight Purple CONFIRMED for NA

Hi, I came across something exciting and hopefully becomes reality, Sam's Club has posted a listing for a Purple 3DS.

will you get this if it comes out? I sure will! granted that will make 4 3ds but I will gladly trade in my Aqua blue one for it.

I'm expecting there to be an orange 3DS in that case, as I'm fairly certain both purple and orange were shown once, but never amounted to anything (until now, that is).

Seeing how it WAS announced both at an EB games and this place,I say Nintendo told them to pre-pare,but they did it too early.

I'm happy with my red 3DS, but if I had waited a bit longer I could've gotten purple. It happens to be my fav color.

There's no proof that there's a purple 3DS coming.

You people need to learn something. Just because some random retailer lists something, if it wasn't confirmed by Nintendo, assume it's fake! Otherwise, where's my Donkey Kong 3D game?

Also.... here's some other colours that are "NOT" confirmed, and are also fake:

@UltimateKoopa I know its speculation however EB games and Sams club both listed the same device so there is a possibility that it might come and a possibility of me spending another 170 to get it lol

But EB games ALSO listed some Donkey Kong 3D game.

And also, how do you know that one of them isn't just listing it BECAUSE it's on the other one? Like maybe the source of Sam's Club is EB Games?

That's the trouble with rumours. Multiple sites reporting on something might make it seem legitimate, BUT a lot of the time, they're all pointing to the same source.
You get an original source of the rumour (let's call it NeoGAF).
Then another site (let's call it GoNintendo) then also posts about this rumour. But, it says "According to a user at NeoGAF...", meaning that the their source is the original source of the rumour.
Now let's say IGN also posted about this rumour, and said that "According to GoNintendo, a user at NeoGAF..." -- essentially their not really confirming anything, they're just using the original source itself as their source....

So, there must be a total of what... 7 colours now? But not all of them are available in every region.... all the colours that are confirmed so far are:

1. Coral Pink/Misty Pink
2. Aqua Blue
3. Cosmos Black
4. Ice White
5. Metallic Red/Flame Red/Flare Red
6. Cobalt Blue
7. Midnight Purple

Any ones I've missed?

Note, confirmed. There's no confirmation of any Green 3DS, for example.
