Anyone here do midnight release of video games? If so what games did you get and have you ever been mugged while trying to get home with said games?

Never been mugged and the only one I went out for was a Call of Duty game once, not too keen on doing it now with the way things are and such, there may not be many muggings from midnight releases where I live if any but that can all change I guess.

I don't see the point of midnight release since I don't like to stay up all night gaming.
I've never been to a midnight release and I doubt I ever would. New games are always crowded if you are trying to play online for the first couple days. Not only that but many new releases come up with bugs that make the game unplayable anyways for the first week or so. I rarely even buy the game till I know all those little hiccups are out.
