What could be a great show of gamer faith and the need for a megaman type video game to hit the market again, Mighty No. 9 has reached it's goal of 2,200,000 dollars meaning this game will be released for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U once it's released! It will be released on Steam as well but if you want to see it on Xbox one and PS4 then the kickstarter fund will need to reach 3,300,000 dollars but given the amount of time left it's unlikely this amount will be reached.

At the time of this writing, this project started by Keiji Inafune has reached 38,298 backers and continues to grow. We the gamers here at GF hope this project continues to grow and gain support to show that no matter what gamers are in control and not the greedy companies. See more info on the kickstarter page:

Great news!

Not only am I looking forward to this game, hopefully this will show Capcom that people are still interested in seeing a Mega Man game return (something they denied when Legends 3 was cancelled).

I remember them saying that the reason Legends 3 was cancelled was "lack of fan interest" which I think was complete BS.

I dunno, when nigh 40,000 fans contribute a total of over 2 million dollars... That certainly says something. I mean that's only a relatively small portion of people who would likely buy the finished product. (Since I'd wager a lot of people don't want kickstarter or just are unaware of it. They might be undecided right now and waiting until the product releases to pick it up.)

And with 2 weeks still left to contribute, I still think that close to 2.5-2.7 million might be possible.

Word is, it'll also be available for 3DS. Happy days \ : D /

Well it was funded to be on all platforms.
Indeed it was. Now let's just hope that the controversies surrounding it die down and the game itself comes out as well as it's expected to be.

what controversies? Like that lady trying to change the gender?

I know the game might have some difference on handheld due to the engine used.
