Mighty No. 9 was doomed to fail from the beginning as it never got a break which it still doesn't and even a different indie game called 20XX did what MN9 was supposed to. Today it was revealed that anyone who wanted the $60 tier physical box and manual for their digital game, found out that the Famicom version came with a box that was too small to hold the game manual.
It's a better than nothing situation, those who got a western style box, that came big enough to hold it. To add insult to injury, the manual was supposed to be fully colored from front to back, sadly that was not so either.
