Nintendo is running an extended maintenance period for Miiverse this weekend.
According to Nintendo's announcement, the maintenance period is scheduled to begin at 3pm PT today, and will last until 1am on Tuesday September 30.
Miiverse may not be down for the whole period; Nintendo suggests you may only "encounter some issues while trying to connect."
